Room rates include meals and beverages at onsite restaurants and bars. Senses Riviera Maya by Artisan - Gourmet All Inclusive - Adults Only is an all-inclusive aparthotel. Posted by DM, from Chandler on Jan 20, 2020 I look forward to another visit in the years to come! Thank you to all of the staff for making my stay a pleasant one! This was the second time in the last two years we stayed at this property and coincidentally had the same exact room number as our first visit. The "all-inclusive" rate for this hotel was very reasonable and the overall value and quality for this property met my expectations. The mini-fridge was adequately stocked, but on occasion, we had to ask for more "Coke Light" beverages since we were not beer drinkers. The variety of food at the restaurant was good and very well pliments to the chef! Housekeeping was a bit of a challenge resulting from not having adequate towels supplied in our room and some days, none at all, so we were frequently having to ask the front desk for bathroom towels as well as pool towels. The large shower is amazing and while the jacuzzi tub was a bonus, the hand-held shower component was not functioning due to a missing control valve. I also liked the expansive size of the guestroom.nearly 900 square feet and high quality of finishes. The water in the hot tubs was not very warm and never exceeded 87 degrees F although the heater setting was programmed for 104 degrees F. I really liked the rooftop area designated for topless and nude sunbathing which included two hot tubs. Posted by a verified traveler on Jun 6, 2021 I’m very disappointed that Travelocity backs this hotel and that I trusted booking through them but they only said “it’s up to the hotel manager, if they will refund your stay”. I hope Travelocity can do the right thing and get us our money back and at least take this hotel down to 2 Stars like it deserves. We left and went to a different resort and they refuse to refund our money. The walls had stains, mirrors were missing and the ones that weren’t were cracked, the TV was broken, the remote was broken, the door was broken, there was no hot water, we didn’t have robes, we didn’t receive a welcome drink, we did not get any info about the resort upon arrival, the plants were dying, the paint and wood was chipping or broken and warped. The hotel is falling apart, the rooms smell like a basement, there is no entertainment, only 1 restaurant and a “pool bar” which is hardly open. This is NOT a 5-star or even 4-Star hotel. Travelocity should take it off their website.
